First Potted Plant of the Season

I always, ALWAYS buy potted flowers early, TOO EARLY in the season, and have to bring them in night after night. Spring weather in northern Colorado is so unpredictable, with warm, sunny days, followed by snow and freezing temperatures a few hours later. BUT, I love those first potted plants available at WalMart, and will probably always, ALWAYS be tempted into buying them early, TOO EARLY, for many years to come.

Roses From My Sweetheart

My Sweetheart has a habit of bringing me roses.... for no occasion, or, in this case: for my 58th birthday. This photo shows only a glimpse of the huge bouquet.
